His works literally fly away into private collections of friends. As soon as a piece appears in the workshop, it draws interest — and immediately there is a new owner. Each next project — whether it is a studio design, a statue or a painting — is already reserved, and new owners are already counting on them, having found the right place in their collection. That is why the studio began producing prints of its art. You can easily go to the online shop and purchase a print with the artist's signature.
His projects are bought by galleries and private collections. The artist ScrupNYak ART (Dmytro Yavtushenko) reveals his talents in creating a wide variety of art objects.
ScrupNYak ART has already shown his creative "self" in sculpture, painting, and interior design. For instance, his interior project in Dnipro can be seen in flower studios. Collections of paintings are still in private hands. One of his friends was so impressed by the triptych by Dmytro Yavtushenko that he spent a long time persuading him to sell all the works at once.
The sculptor's statues are admired in Zaporizhzhia salons, and even chain stores ask to create sculptures. Today people have "switched" — they have appreciated and fallen in love with art. In this difficult year, everyone who knows how to dream and develop has been able to find and reveal their hidden resources. That is how an intelligent man came to art, and creativity captured him so much that before he knew it, there were already dozens of works in the workshop and gallerists were already asking about the possibility of exhibiting the artist's works.
Interestingly, the artist never studied at specialized institutions and came to creativity a few years ago. More precisely, he drew from childhood, but then he did not even think that he could take it seriously. But now he cannot imagine life without music, paintings and sculptures. This person can fill a space from A to Z. Seeing only empty walls in front of him, he develops a design project from unique bright materials and fills the room with his works of art.
This is what happened with the project of flower salons — it was Dmytro Yavtushenko who became the ideological inspirer of this new art direction for Dnipro, framing flowers in metal and playing on the contrast of aged copper and delicate roses.
Contrasts are very close to this creative person — in the paintings of ScrupNYak ART, brutality and delicate flowers are often combined; some subjects of the works make one think about the frailty and transience of life, while others raise questions about the value of things and their significance in our world. The paintings are filled with subtle meaning and refined allegories.
The artist paints his works only on natural canvases — currently the master prefers premium linen, on which the painting will live for a century. The creator has also already tasted working with wood — he learned to age it and apply gilding. The collection already has several paintings on a wooden base; plans include old-school paintings on a wooden base.
Also suddenly, just like collecting, the creator became passionate and this spring discovered a sculptor in himself. Dmytro himself was surprised by the sudden impulse when, on a warm day, he bought materials and decided to make a large sculpture for his own front garden. Moreover, he did not take plaster or marble, as any "classical" creator would have done in his place, but decided to experiment. As a result, within just a few months, three large sculptures saw the light of day. One ScrupNYak ART kept for himself, and the other two ended up in the hands of private collectors. The sculptor's plans include large-scale works, about which he can talk endlessly, and friends are already ready to purchase them to install in their interiors.
But while it is cold and there is no opportunity to work outdoors on large volumes, the creator in the workshop carves the heads of dinosaurs, bulls and other mythical creatures. But unlike the sculptures, these creative projects are not for sale yet — he simply hangs them on the walls and they inspire him to create further.
Dmytro Yavtushenko is not just an artist, gallerist, collector, designer and sculptor — he is also a public figure. For some time he lived and worked in Kyiv, but recently returned to Dnipro to draw inspiration from this post-industrial industrial giant and fill the city with new meanings.
This is Dmytro Yavtushenko — an extraordinary creator, a very interesting conversationalist, advisor and counselor, a person who tirelessly tries himself in creativity and is ready to surprise and decorate this world. During the creation of projects, hundreds of paintings, sculptures, fragments of frescoes, ornaments, bas-reliefs, and stained-glass windows flash through his head. He has interpreted and presented in a new light dozens of classical works of world cultural heritage. Sometimes dozens of concepts and projects are born in a day and all that remains is to implement them.
