Time for real standards. Why this address is not just another post

Every day on social media we see hundreds of posts: "Best tattoo studio of the year," "Most professional artist," "Absolute sterility and individual approach." And that is wonderful. But then why do I, as a client and as a professional, still worry every time I see a novice pick up a tattoo machine without basic hygiene knowledge?

We created the "DERMASAFE" HEALTH PROTECTION VERIFICATION CENTER not because it is trendy. But because in the tattoo industry we have clearly understood: trust is not promises, it is a system. A system that cannot be faked, bypassed or bought for "likes."

The problem. Ukraine's tattoo industry: chaos instead of culture

Let's be honest. Today in Ukraine the tattoo market is the Wild West. Anyone who bought a machine on AliExpress and took a month-long course calls themselves a "mega-artist." Information about hygiene is passed "from artist to artist," often as urban legends. There is no unified standard, no verification system. The client relies only on pretty pictures on Instagram.

What are the consequences?

• Health risk. Hepatitis, staphylococcus, herpes — these are not scary stories, they are real diagnoses after sessions with "experienced" artists.
• Distrust of the industry. Because of a few unscrupulous players, the reputation of everyone suffers — even those who work flawlessly.
• Absence of responsibility. No one monitors knowledge of professional ethics and sanitation. And the Ministry of Health of Ukraine does not yet have a tool for working with our niche.

It is precisely this gap that we are closing.

The solution. DERMASAFE — Ukraine's answer to world standards

We spent a long time studying how verification works in the West. American systems are excellent, but they do not take into account our realities: Ukrainian legislation, mentality, economy and market specifics. That is why we, as a team, did not copy but created our own analogue — DERMASAFE.

What is it?

It is an online system for verifying knowledge, hygiene standards and professional ethics of artists. But the main thing is that it is a three-level system:

• Online exam. The artist confirms knowledge of biosafety, sanitation, legal aspects and the psychology of working with a client.
• QR code. Each verified artist receives a unique QR code that cannot be faked. The client scans it — and sees the professional's entire "service record."
• Personal account. This is not just a "checkmark." It is a digital ecosystem developed by the best IT specialists of Ukraine. An analogue of "Diia," but for the tattoo industry.

We have made a standard that the whole country must now measure up to. And we are ready to support it at the official level.

Authority is born from control

The "DERMASAFE" verification center is not a project of one person. It is the joint work of artists from many corners of Ukraine. People from the industry for the industry.

Previously, to call yourself "the best," it was enough to win a dubious contest once a year or write a loud post. Now the rules are changing:

Only after that do you receive the status "Professional Health Standards Verified Tattoo Artist" and a QR code. That says it all. Because the client no longer has to take your word for it. They have to see confirmation.
